PF 152 mullion-transom panel wall system resistant to fire. The system has been classified as the one whose panel walls are resistant to fire in full configuration.
Having carried out tests with regard to heating from the inside and outside, it has been classified as EI 60 and EI 30.
In the system it is possible to manufacture fire-resistant panel walls with glass and non-transparent inter-floor strips.
With reference to transparent fillings, it is possible to use fire-resistant glass (class EI 30 or EI 60) (single or combined) provided by most suppliers available on the market.
Internal aluminum sections with fire-resistant inputs and special “transom-mullion” tube couplings assure load capacity of the structure in the event of fire. Expanding tapes protect thermal breaks and seal connections between the structure and glasses, or other non-transparent fillings to form a resistant and fire-protecting element. It is feasible to manufacture façade structure with a fire-resistant door (both single- and double-leaf door).
